Cannabis Medicine
Cannabis grows as a dioecious flowering herb. It has the growth of any typical annual. This plant has three species which have been classified under Carl Linnaeus's classifications. His species listed are Sativa, Indica, and Ruderalis. These plants grow wild throughout the world from the tropics to the mountains. It is a very versatile plant in which many products come from. The medicine is in the leafs and buds. The buds are made up of stems, leaves and calyx's. On these buds are crystals, but are also known as resins. The resin is sticky when fresh and hardens in the cold. The strongest part of the medicine is in the crystals but there are many medicinal properties within the buds and leaves. The properties in the leaves and buds have many cannabinoids and are a profile of many substances which are all grouped as cannabinoids. The crystals contain the delta-9 THC and the other delta substances. These are found as the purer medicine but when used alone may not complete a patient's needs for the other cannabinoids. All humans have cannabinoid receptors as we have seratonin or dopamine receptors. In those who do not use Cannabis, the receptors go dormant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis
Hashish
Hashish is the crystals gathered and formed into a mass as a product to use. The potency is greater than bud use alone. Hash is made two ways. Gathering crystals plant to plant and formed into a mass or by coldwater extraction. Coldwater extraction uses ice to harden the crystals in a vessel of water and then after agitation, a series of screens seperates the different sized crystals. These crystals make up the different grades of "Bubble Hash." Loose crystals are referred to as kif. Pronounced keef. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashish
Clones
Clones are produced by taking cuttings from pest free mother plants. The cutting is dipped into a rooting gel or liquid. Powders are also available. These are then pushed almost all the way down into a medium and placed into a low lit flourescent chamber to root. These clones when rooted are hardened off and made available to patients who Charles North is Caregiver for. Strains are available for purchase by compliant caregivers and patients who are not Charles's patients.
Tinctures
Tinctures come in two forms. Alcohol and Glycerine are used to extract the medicinal properties out of the plant material. These are also used with hash or kif and made into potent products that work for patients who cannot smoke or vaporize their medicine. Glycerine tinctures are useful in many ways. Patients have been known to use it as a sweetener for their tea and coffee. They also use it as a medicine during work where the smoking or vaporizing is too much on the psyche. When eaten, there is less of an effect on the consciousness and also takes much longer to show if it does. The smoke and vapor shows the cerebral effects close to instantly. Cannabis Solutions believes smoking any carbon based material will be carcinogenic on the body. This information can only be acted on by the patient after careful considerations. Please be aware of what you ingest when you have conditions and are on medicines.
Edibles
Edibles are made using cannabis butter or materials that are full of cannabis medicine and added as ingredients in common dishes. When consumed the digestive system absorbs the medicine slower as the meal digests and keeps the systems saturated with medicine. Kefir is a fermented milk drink and has no relation as a medicine but kif can be added as a non alcoholic sort of similar version of bhaang. Bhaang is a rice milk based alcoholic drink which contains alcohol and hashish or kif. It is a potent drink.
